Meet Amanda

Amanda - Grind2Fit Founder

Hi! I'm Amanda DeBruler, the creator and lead instructor for Grind2Fit. I am a fitness lover, dance fanatic, wife and mother of 4 amazing children. Fitness has always been an important part of my life. I was a cheerleader in middle school & high school and became a certified Jazzercise Instructor while in college. I've always LOVED to dance! Life got busy, I got married and had kids and my fitness and dancing slowly took a back seat.

I started teaching Dance Fitness in October 2013.  After I had my fourth child, I decided to leave the hustle and bustle of Corporate America and become a stay at home mom. It was quite a shock for me in the beginning. My husband (in what was probably hopes to gain the sanity of his wife back) stopped in one evening to sign our family up for a membership at our local YMCA. He knew that the whole "stay at home mom" thing was new for me and I needed some interaction with other moms.

After my husband signed us up for a membership, I jumped right into the ZUMBA classes. I hardly ever missed a class and knew I had found my passion again...DANCING! A few months later, I got my ZUMBA license and started teaching at a local school as well as subbing at the YMCA. I taught for about a year and then saw an opportunity to grow my own type of fitness class that would combine the hottest songs on the radio with even hotter moves. With the support of my husband and friends I started my own class - - DANCE FITNESS WITH AMANDA. It was an instant hit! Class sizes ranged anywhere from 50-80 people and the energy is amazing! Due to the growing popularity of the class , I decided to expand and offer classes at an additional location in January 2016.

I quickly realized that this was my calling - leading others down the path of healthy living. In June 2017, my husband and I decided to move the classes to the barn in Batavia to have a more dedicated space for classes. That is when the true vision for Grind2Fit began taking formation. While I love offering dance fitness classes, I also realize that there is so much more to fitness and overall health than strictly a cardio dance program.

Grind2Fit (G2Fit) was launched in December of 2017. G2Fit incorporates Fitness, Motivation, Supplementation, and Nutrition. While all of our ideas have not been rolled out just yet - there is so much to come in 2019! Stay tuned to hear all of the exciting things happening in the near future!

I feel so incredibly blessed to combine the two things I love to do -- dance and help others live a healthy, happy life!
